Restoration Ministries

Restoration Ministries are programs that enable churches and church volunteers to help individuals and families in chronic need make lasting changes in their lives. Christian Services trains churches and volunteers to walk alongside people in need in order to help them overcome their problems and move toward self-sufficiency. Restoration Ministries provide people in need with caring and nurturing relationships in a structured environment that includes budgeting, skills training, mentoring, goal setting, and spiritual and emotional support. It also surrounds people in need with the full array of church and community resources available through the Clearinghouse. By showing love and concern for the families they work with, church members are sharing the love of Jesus, which is the only way lives can truly be transformed.

Sparrow’s Nest

Sparrow’s Nest is a Ministry Partner with Christian Services, with its own staff, board and 501c3.

Sparrow’s Nest seeks to transition homeless families to long-term stable housing and to enable local churches to fulfill their biblical mandate of service to those in need. The combination of a church’s committed Christian lay workers, Sparrow’s Nest Staff and the supportive services of the Christian Services Church Network leads to exciting results. The Church team serves as a bridge, assisting the family back to self-reliance and self-respect. Their friendship, informal counseling, problem solving, and encouragement are pivotal to the family’s success.
